Industry sources confirm General Motors is gearing up to launch four new models. The Indian Car Mart next year is expected to receive a Chevrolet SUV, two mid-sized cars and one small car. The company has recently inaugurated there flexi-engine plant in Talegaon, which has been set-up to manufacture petrol and diesel engines under one roof.We Believe the SUV will be the New Chevrolet Orlanda and GM will offer the Chevrolet Sail and the new Optra in the mid sized segment. Moving on to the small car we can expect an electric small car which will be developed and manufactured by General Motors. The new flexi-plant at Talegaon is developing the new Chevrolet Beat’s diesel engine. A LPG variants of the Chevrolet Beat is also said to be launched shortly.
